Texas Barbeque Company (TBC) started as an idea from a restaurateur that was looking to expand the market while trying to remain efficient. From this, in 2008, the idea then turned to reality by teaming up with Aramark to test out products in the cold vending machines. TBC started with just two sandwiches – chopped brisket and pulled pork. The product was an instant success for one reason; the quality was not compromised with mass production. Demand became so great that it was decided to separate from the restaurant into a true manufacturing facility in Haltom City, TX as Red Rock Foods, LLC. At this time, TBC expanded the product line to include many different flavors and also added the “Big Tex” line. Presently, our corporate office and manufacturing operation is housed in one facility located in Grand Prairie, TX.
We are actively selling in convenience stores across the country and continue to grow daily. Recently, we added a new partnership with Nolan Ryan All-Natural Beef to help promote our “Big Tex” line.
As TBC grows, it is important to stay true to our roots. "Texas Flavor. Texas Quality." This has meaning in more than just our sandwiches. It includes work ethic, attitude, and quality of life. Every aspect of our business ensures we provide this to our customers, vendors, and employees.
